What You’d Be Doing:

· Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.

· Maintain a firm collection timeline and ensure compliance with it.

· Manage a team of accounts receivable clerks and set departmental objectives.

· Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered.

· Enter data on new invoices; ensure proper coding on documents.

· Collect accounts by sending invoice reminders and communicating with customers via phone and email.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports.

· Stay updated on industry and legislative changes related to collection regulations.

· Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.

You’re Probably a Match If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
• A high degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
• Comfort with MS Office and knowledge of relevant accounting software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in negotiations and resolving conflicts.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
