Step inside the new Spartan Minnesota Showroom, a space curated to support every stage of the design and material selection process. Our grand opening brought together local designers, end users and dealer/contractors over drinks, apps, and a special drawing for Vikings and Wild tickets! It was a great evening to mingle and enjoy our newly renovated 3,000 sq ft showroom. Every detail highlights Spartan’s commitment to meaningful design, trusted partnerships, and supportive collaboration. The result is a destination where inspiration, creativity, and real project work come naturally.

Celebrating Our Grand Opening

On Thursday, October 23rd, designers, end users, and dealer partners joined us for a lively evening open house. The event gave visitors a first look at our renovated showroom and its new design features. It was a warm celebration of community, creativity, and shared inspiration. An ASI wood panel serves as a sculptural focal point near the lobby area. Its panels introduce depth, rhythm, and modern geometry to the space.

A Thoughtfully Designed First Impression

Visitors are welcomed into a reception area shaped by bold geometry and inviting textures. A deep green sofa paired with sculptural seating immediately sets a stylish and comfortable tone. Community Finishing Touch wall base provides cohesive transitions across the space. This entry moment frames the entire showroom experience. It signals that hospitality, creativity, and design performance guide every decision within the space.

A Main Showroom Built for Exploration

The central showroom leads guests through several interactive zones designed for hands-on discovery. Each section highlights coordinated palettes, installation patterns, and material combinations. The open flow supports movement, conversation, and meaningful comparison across styles. It mirrors the clarity and thoughtful organization seen in our award-winning DC Showroom.

A Spartan Transformation Anchored by Performance Materials

This renovation created an opportunity to spotlight several trusted manufacturing partners in impactful ways. AVA’s luxury vinyl tile takes center stage with its durable, sustainable, and elegant 36″x36″ format. ECOsurfaces Valera RXT supports resilience and acoustic comfort in areas planned for future wellness and community events. Venture Carpets add expressive pattern, color, and warmth throughout our soft seating zones and library area.

Purposeful Flooring Design That Shapes Each Zone

Flooring is a defining element throughout the showroom and guides visitors along the main path. The primary walkway uses AVA 2TRZO in a clean brick layout that grounds circulation. A semiprivate meeting space features Purpose Acorn XL Plank in a bordered herringbone design that enhances visual interest.

A Collaborative Product Library

Venture Carpet‘s Mingan collection running line planks set the stage for the product library, with ample shelf space for architect folders and a wide table for sample setup.

A Functional Office Within the Showroom

A dedicated office near the entry supports daily operations while staying aligned with the showroom’s aesthetic. The flooring connects the space seamlessly to the surrounding areas. This office feels integrated and purposeful within the larger showroom.

The Spartan Village Behind the Transformation

This project reflects the effort and dedication of an incredible Spartan team. Michelle Schmand, Gabrielle Amig and our HR team who helped select the furniture and execute thoughtful staging. Mike Lavrich built the framed samples that now anchor the gallery wall, and Rob Pfeiffer and our IT Team who coordinated the technical installation of it all. Kate Koskey and Spartan North team assembled furniture, coordinated installers, and stepped in wherever help was needed.

Hannah Ferdelman, a Twin Cities-based designer, also collaborated closely with us on the floor plan. It was a challenge to work with such an ample, open space, but she helped shape it into something both functional and welcoming.
