Located in the Heart of the Golden Triangle
Our award-winning space is located at 1203 19th St NW. Our location places Spartan Surfaces in the vibrant heart of the Golden Triangle. This 44-square-block area stretches from the White House’s front yard to Dupont Circle, making the showroom a central hub for the design community. This strategic location ensures clients can easily visit to experience the Spartan brand firsthand.
We’ve Got You Covered From the Moment You Step Off the Elevator
The project’s most memorable design begins the moment the elevator doors open. Instead of stepping into a bright, traditional lobby, visitors enter a moody, intimate reception area that feels more like a hidden cocktail bar than a showroom.
Rich finishes, warm lighting, and intricately chosen materials immediately shift expectations. This cinematic transition prioritizes hospitality, inviting guests into a space that feels personal rather than transactional.
The Stadium Stairs – Turning Challenges into Opportunities
The building’s unusual footprint and a thirty-three-inch elevation drop presented a unique challenge. Rather than hide this change, the team transformed it into the heart of the showroom.
Clad in AVA SWAY English Oak, the stair connects the high and low levels while doubling as casual seating for presentations and events. The rich tones of the stained English oak add warmth and classic elegance, carefully matched to the LVT used elsewhere to create seamless design continuity.
From Speakeasy Ambience to Gallery Clarity
As visitors move deeper into the showroom, the architectural tone shifts from a speakeasy vibe to a clean, bright, gallery-like environment. The Library and Research Area prioritizes clarity, grounded by Aphelion Collection’s Betao Sabbia tile.
Here, large-format flooring samples are displayed like curated art pieces. The lighting and layout allow designers to engage physically with scale, color, and texture, turning functional samples into design statements.
Hospitality Meets Functionality
True to Spartan’s relationship-driven sales approach, the showroom blends workspace with high-end hospitality.
The Pods
Capri Collections MURO wall tile adds sustainable color and sound control to the three office pods, available for phone calls, noise-free concentration, or mid-day meditation.
The Pantry
A true highlight of texture, the pantry features UMORE’s Bologna Rosewood Hex Mosaic as its backsplash, elevating the entire amenity experience.
Back of House
Intentional design extends even to the storage areas. The product storage utilizes American Biltrite AB Pure Anthracite Rubber Flooring to preserve quality and integrity while maintaining a clean, aesthetic appearance.
