This location, featuring the CoffeeBar and a podcast studio, showcases a variety of surface products that work cohesively and will stand the test of time.
Stylish and Inviting CoffeeBar
The CoffeeBar at 5 N Main Street is a key area on Bel Air’s main street. It is here where visitors can unwind, work, or collaborate in a comfortable setting. The design focus here was on creating a space that feels modern and inviting, and the materials used were crucial to achieving that goal.
Cobalt Surfaces Hushcore Coarse Pewter
Flowing throughout the coffee bar, Cobalt Surfaces‘ Hushcore Coarse Pewter and Roasted Peanut Flooring offer a combination of durability and a sleek, industrial aesthetic that perfectly complements the minimalist design. These luxury vinyl floors provide more than just visual appeal—Cobalt Surfaces delivers a full package of performance, featuring waterproof technology, superior acoustic properties, and hassle-free, glueless installation, all proudly manufactured in the USA. Whether you need a robust, stylish solution or one that enhances sound control, Cobalt Surfaces has everything required for a high-performing space.

Podcast Studio: A Sound-Controlled Masterpiece
Just below the CoffeeBar, the podcast studio at 5 N. Main Street stands as a state-of-the-art recording space, where the choice of materials was driven by the need for both acoustics and aesthetics.
Cobalt Hushcore Coarse Pewter
The podcast studio continues the use of Cobalt’s high-performance flooring, chosen for its ability to reduce noise and withstand high-traffic use. Featuring both Coarse Pewter and Roasted Peanut, Its sleek appearance adds a professional touch to the studio’s modern design.
ASI Chromatic Wood
Surrounding the podcast recording area, ASI Chromatic Wood enhances sound control while bringing warmth and texture to the space. This material not only helps manage sound reflections but also provides a natural, sophisticated look.
ASI Swick Natural
The studio walls are lined with ASI Swick Natural, adding another layer of acoustic optimization. Its textured surface is ideal for maintaining a clear sound quality, essential for a high-functioning recording studio.
A Unified Design by LUUA and Spartan Surfaces
This project was led by the architects at LUUA Design Studio and executed with expert craftsmanship. It showcases how high-quality materials can define both the function and feel of a space. From the Cobalt Hushcore flooring to the vibrant Trinity Color Shapes, each material was carefully selected. This ensures that 5 N Main Street serves as a welcoming and modern environment for all who visit.
