Spartan Supports Greenspace - A Living Classroom for Green Building

Greenspace in a nonprofit organization focusing on green building within affordable housing, real estate and economic development within Washington, D.C. and the National Capital Region. Greenspace aims to be the premiere green learning and resource center for the area by serving as a living classroom for understanding the benefits of sustainable and environmental construction and renovation. Officially kicked off on June 28th, the green development hub is attracting attention throughout the community. Featured articles can be found in the Washington City Paper, Region Forward, and Capitol River Front to name a few.

Spartan Surfaces has partnered with ECOsurfaces and USF Contract to provide flooring material at little to no cost to the organization. Their environmental flooring materials will be featured in Greenspace's new 12,000 square foot green learning and resource center. The center, designed by Gensler, is located at the Nationals ballpark in Southeast Washington, DC. To learn more about Greenspace and their growing initiative click here.
